BOOKING AND PROPERTY POLICIES
Rates and Taxes
All rates stated on our Site (as defined in our Privacy Policy) are stated in U.S. Dollars and are subject to change and based on availability. Rates are also subject to state and local occupancy taxes and fees (12% Occupancy Tax, applicable California state tourism taxes, and a 2% local tourism tax).
Booking Requirements
All reservations require a credit card to be entered at the time of booking. 50% of the entire payment amount, will be charged 30 days prior to check-in, and the remaining balance will be charged 14 days prior to check in.
Certain bookings may only be offered by us under certain circumstances as communicated to you through our Site or by our personnel at one of our properties. For example, certain nights require a multiple-night reservation to book. In addition, in order to host an event at one of our HH Properties, you may be required to complete a booking of the entire Property.
Reservation Cancellations and Modifications
All reservations cancelled prior to 30 days before the first night of your booking may be cancelled without penalty and for a 100% refund. Cancellations between 14-30 days before the first night of your booking will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 14 days of the first night of your booking cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
If you need to modify your reservation for any reason, please contact us, as modifications may be made on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability. Generally, reservations may be modified prior to 30 days before the first night of your booking. Requests for modifications within 30 days of the first night of your booking cannot be guaranteed, and we have no obligation to honor such requests.
If you have also booked an event in connection with your overnight reservation at one of our properties, and you wish to cancel or modify your reservation or your event, the terms of your Event Agreement will also apply with respect to any termination or cancellation of your event. Please review your Event Agreement carefully in connection with any cancellation or modification of your reservation or of your event.
Check-in/Check-Out
Check-in time is 3:00 pm on the first day of your booking. Check-out time is 10:00 am on the day following the last night of your booking.
Parking
Each room reserved entitles you to one parking spot per room. However, not all of our HH Properties have parking available to our guests at all times. As a condition of your booking, you agree to abide by all parking instructions and regulations communicated to you by us in connection with your booking. We may ask you to vacate parking spaces otherwise made available to you, if those spaces are necessary in connection with an event hosted by you or someone in your party.
Pet Policy
Pets are allowed on our properties only on a case-by-case basis with our prior written approval and upon payment of a pet fee of $125 per night. We will evaluate requests for pets under 50 pounds only in connection with reservations of an entire property by one party in connection with a special event. Task-trained service animals are exempt. If there is any damage to your any part of our property caused by your pet or service animal, the cost of repairs will be charged to you. You will also be responsible for, and will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless against, any compensation given to our personnel or other guests staying on the property due to a disturbance or injury caused by your pet or service animal. Please contact us prior to making a booking to make a reservation with a pet or service animal.
Smoking Policy
All of our HH Properties are smoke-free environments. Many of our properties are located in the City of Santa Barbara, which is a smoke-free city. Smoking (including vaping) is not allowed in guest rooms or anywhere on our property premises. Violations of this policy will result in a fee of at least $300 per violation.
